Since 1912, the Grand Prizes moved from Savannah to different other locations. In 1912, it was in the Milwaukee Grand Prize in which David Bruce-Brown lost his life. 1914 saw Eddie Mullen in a Mercer win in Santa Monica. 1915 saw San Francisco and it’s Panama-Pacific International Exposition as the stage for a combined Grand Prize and Vanderbilt Cup race, both within a week from each other. Both races were won by Darius Resta. After that, it headed back to Santa Monica in 1916.
