The 1907 Grand Prix de l’Automobile Club de France was the second Grand Prix. The Dieppe circuit was chosen, as now British and Belgian spectators could more easily travel to this year’s Grand Prix. Contrary to last year, it was a one-day race and the distance was shortened. Unfortunately, a maximum consumption requirement was added to the rules, but it had hardly any influence on the race. But in contrast to last year, the time intervals between each driver became smaller during the race. The Italian Felice Nazarro won, Camille Jenatzy now second; so they swapped 1st and 2nd positions. The American Christie front-wheel drive car participated too this year; unfortunately to no avail.  (more to come: page is under construction 07.05.2026).
