La Coupe Gordon-Bennett
— On sait que M. Gordon-Bennett a fait don à l’Automobile-Club de France d’une Coupe destinée à une épreuve internationale entre Clubs automobiles. La Commission sportive doit en élaborer le règlement d’après les grandes lignes fixées par M. Gordon-Bennett. L’Automobile-Club de Grande-Bretagne, dans une lettre adressée à l’A.C.F. par Sir David Salomons, président du Comité des services extérieurs, émet le vœu qu’il soit institué un meeting de délégués des différents Automobile-Clubs reconnus, afin de faire valoir auprès du Comité de l’A.C.F. certains paragraphes méritant considération et qu’on pourrait peut-être ajouter aux dispositions générales.
D’autre part une des conditions fixées par M. Gordon-Bennett porte que la Coupe sera offerte aux voitures pourvues de moteurs électriques ou de moteurs à pétrole. L’A.C.G.B. espère que ce paragraphe pourra être modifié et étendu à n’importe quelle force motrice.
