Indianapolis Race Draws 41 Entries

Largest List Since 1919 Scheduled – 11 Front Wheel Drive Cars Entered

   INDIANAPOLIS, May 13 – Eleven front wheel drives and a French Bugatti are among the 41 cars which have been entered for the fifteenth international 500-mile race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Monday, May 30. The entry list, which is the largest since 1919, is as follows: (see table).

   Lawrence P. Fisher has accepted an invitation to pace the starting lap of the race. With a LaSalle roadster, the new product of the Cadillac Motor Car Co., of which he is president and general manager, Mr. Fisher will bring the racers down the straightaway for a flying start after a parade lap.
