The second Vanderbilt Cup draw even more spectators than the year before. The race was run without organizational isues.
Winner was Victor Hémery in a Darracq, with last year’s winner George Heath finishing a nice second place. Third was the American Joe Tracy in a Locomobile; the first American driver and car that plced in an international contest. The crowd’s favorite, Vincenzo Lancia, finished fourth, due to a collision with Christie.
