The 1925  Grand Prix season was the first for the Manufacturer’s Championship AIACR. It consisted of four races: the Belgian GP, for the first time at Spa-Francorchamps, the French GP on the new Monthléry circuit near Paris, the Italian GP at Monza and the Indianapolis 500-mile Sweepstakes. Antonio Ascari lost his life in the French GP and finally, Alfa-Romeo won the championship.
